A new 80 acre lifestyle retail center built on the landmark Tustin Marine Base. The development is back-dropped by the famed wood hangars built during World War II. The site required extensive demolition and clearing of environmentally sensitive stream beds. Grading consisted of stabilizing saturated excavations utilizing base and geo-fabric. Due to the highly expansive nature of existing soils, 200,000 CY of select import was utilized in addition to soil surcharging of the larger pads.

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Newport Coast Villas is an upscale luxury time share facility. The 300 plus units are nestled into the hillside which required extensive grading over phases to accommodate ongoing operations of the resort. Grading of the resort required execution of a plan to complete rough and finish grading with minimal impact to guests and resort staff.

IEUA is increasing sewage treatment capacity at plant #4. Earthwork involved excavation for new primary and secondary clarifiers, chlorine contact basins and tertiary filters. Several deep shored excavations were required in addition to structural backfill of all structures.
